Friend of LittleMen: “Capoeira does not focus on injuring the opponent. Rather, it emphasizes skill. Capoeiristas often prefer to show the movement without completing it, enforcing their superiority in the roda. If an opponent cannot dodge a slow attack, there is no reason to use a faster one. Each attack that comes in gives players a chance to practice an evasive technique.”

LittleMen: “Capoeira is a Brazilian fight-dance, game, and martial art created by enslaved Africans.”

LittleMen: “Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit, either.”

LittleMen: “Knitting is very conducive to thought. It is nice to knit a while, put down the needles, write a while, then take up the sock again.”
LittleMen: “Keep us little and unknown, prized and loved by God alone.”

LittleMen: “We are not built for ourselves, but for God. Not for service for God, but for God.”

LittleMen: “When a man becomes a Christian, he becomes industrious, trustworthy and prosperous. Now, if that man when he gets all he can and saves all he can, does not give all he can, I have more hope for Judas.”

LittleMen: “You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.”
LittleMen: “When the spirits are low, when work becomes monotonous, when the day appears dark, and everything seems hopeless, just mount a bicycle and go out for a ride, without thought just enjoy the ride you are taking.”

LittleMen: “Bicycling is a big part of the future. It has to be. There’s something wrong with a society that drives a car to workout in a gym.”
